“ We got to the restaurant about half an hour before it opened on a Sunday morning. There was a decent amount of people waiting for the restaurant to open at 11 am. Once we got inside, the line moved quickly, we ordered the shrimp tacos and Nashville hot catfish sandwich. It did take about 35 minutes to get the food as the they had just opened and the line was out the door, but once we got the food, it was really good. The Nashville catfish was more sweet than spicy but was really good. ”
“ I love this place. I don’t normally like fried seafood, but their shrimp and fillet are amazing. The okra is perfect. The margarita was OK. The only issue I ever have is trying to find somewhere to park because it’s always packed. ”
“ This is a great little local find I highly recommend to anyone who likes this type of food. I got the Nashville hot catfish sandwich and that was delightful although I do feel like they could have spiced it up the Nashville hot sauce a little bit more. My favorite thing was that deep fried banana pudding. It is a must m-do! I also absolutely loved the alligator queso dip. ”
“ Great place. It’s busy around lunch time, and parking is hard to get. Food is tasty, fried catfish is crispy on the outside and juicy inside. They have awesome creamy tartar sauce. I like all the things I have gotten here. ”
“ This place was fabulous! The food is phenomenal (I had the oyster po’boy and crawfish stew), the staff were friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting!! Cannot wait to go back! FYI... if you sign up for their club you’ll receive a BOGO monthly! Enjoy! ”
“ This is a really cool dive! I came here for National Margarita Day to try their fishbowl drinks. They initially rang me up at full price, but they were super nice and refunded me so that I could have the holiday deal. I wasn't extremely hungry so I didn't order any food, but it smelled heavenly walking in. Only negative is that there is limited parking. ”
“ We have visited multiple times and they are so consistent in the service and the amazing dishes they serve! The fresh oysters on the half shell are 1.50 on Sundays! They serve beer in a very cold glass! So refreshing! The crawfish has a nice kick. Some spice and very enjoyable! ”
“ The fried catfish jambalaya was really good with an ample an ample portion. Parking can be fun especially during the Lent season. ”
